WHAT IS FOLDEY!
The folder 'program' or 'program files' can suddenly open up
when you boot, every time. Foldey is the cure. A small easy to
use program with a dead simple interface (only 1 choice) makes
the fix as easy as start, click, quit.

Foldey is a small program designed to do one thing. It gives you a simple way
of fixing
that annoying folder, that opens automatically when you start (boot) your computer.
This folder is normally c:\program or c:\program files but can
also be located on other
disks then c:\.
The folder opens due to an entry in a special place in your registry
file, that tells
your operating system to start programs on boot. Some of the locations (paths)
for these
programs can sometimes be interpreted incorrectly as a path to just the folder
they are
located in (and not to the executable program file). The result is, that windows
opens the
folder.
The program is tested on Win95, Win95 oem, Win98, win98 SE, Windows
ME (Millenium),
Windows NT 4.0, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Win2K Pro and Win2K Server without problem.
Most of these operating systems has been tested on both the Swedish
and English version.

HOW DOES FOLDEY FIX THE PROBLEM

A path that could give problems can look like this c:\program files\special
Fix\fix.exe.
What foldey does with this line is to enclose it in double brackets
like this;
"c:\program files\special Fix\fix.exe" ,
and by that telling the operating system that it must be handled
as a string, not read
from the left towards the right until it finds a space.
NOTE
As always when a software is poking around in your registry file
should you be aware about
the risks. Somethings could happend to your registry file as a result, therefore
should
you have a copy or at least know how to fix any problem that could arise.
Then of course, you could be the type that likes adventures, and
take a go anyway!
END NOTE
To install the program, simply run the installation program.
Foldey needs:
1. Microsoft Windows 95 or higher
2. Enough memory to run the operating system!
